About the event
The IFM Summit London is one of the key stops on the IFM26 global tour — a series of events powered by IFM, the international community for facilities management professionals.
Every year, industry leaders and specialists gather in cities across the world to tackle FM’s biggest challenges and ensure that the people on the ground are the ones driving real change.
In 2026, we’re focusing on breaking the loop that still holds many teams back: purely reactive management. We’ll explore how to make the shift to a strategic approach that prevents issues before they happen and delivers real impact:
✔️ With people at the heart of operations.
✔️ With seamless collaboration between everyone involved.
✔️ And with operational intelligence to anticipate, align, and lead with confidence.

The confidence gap: What’s really holding women back in FM?
Women say the barriers aren’t about capability, they’re about visibility, confidence, and cultures that weren’t built with them in mind. Employers say they’re doing the right things, but the numbers aren’t shifting. So, where’s the disconnect?
In this interactive workshop, the WiFM Network splits the room by perspective, then brings both sides together to compare what they found. Expect honest conversation, real experiences, and a few uncomfortable truths. Whether you’re navigating your career or shaping someone else’s, this session is for you.
Christy Smith & Valerie Miller・IWFM Women in FM Network

The challenges involved in hard FM services
This workshop explores the key challenges shaping the future of hard services and facilities management.

The session will focus on how the industry can adapt through innovation, training, and smarter ways of working.
